So i am probably getting a head of my self by my new girl arrives on saturday so i thought i would start her a blog
so Quilla ( i decided on that 5 min ago i hope it works ) Quilla means moon in quetchua the native language in peru

so Qullia is a georgous 15.2 hh 6 year old paint x qh who is just a sweety and a giant compared to my perivous horse
so not a lot of info yet will upadte when she arrives

so about my other horses
Carriad is my  little adorable but very chekey horse phobic kid loving 13 year old 12.3 hh welshiy. who i have had since she was a copleate nut case of a 4 year old who thought you got pats and attention if you rear and land oh so very close to people on the ground Carriad is the worlds fattest welshy who thankfully has never founded but does have a misterous problem with her front foot so is not really up for work any more so i am going to have to find her a play home sometime soon

Daleford touch of magic or Woody was my new big boy 14.3 6 year old australian rinding pony cross stock horse who unfortunally broke his leg in jan 4 months after i got him and in now playing in the grass padock on the other side (rip)

so that the story and the intoduction of Quilla
note to self i probably should go bridle shopping by saturday before she arrive it might help

She sounds cute! So what has she done? What do you plan on doing with her?

Quilla is a paint, quarter horse x paint is not a cross but a paint bred horse the paint breed allows for quarter horse, stock horse or ASB TB horses into the registery.
the only stipulation on the above is one of the horses has to be overo positive and by the sound of her "splotches" one was!!

If she has "splodges" with white skin underneath or white above the kneee bigger then a 50 cent coin she can be regular registered if not she can be registered paint bred.

LOL, sorry but i see people all the time saying i have a paint x quarter/stock or TB and im forever explaining no you have a paint horse bred to breed standards and able to be registered......................

Welcom to the forum!

bugger that you have no idea of her lines if the patches are as big as you hand and the skin underneath pink you would be able to regular register her

Time goes so painfully slowly when you are waiting!  It will all be worth it when she arrives though I bet  Grin

So I take it the owner's truck is out of action then- and she is now coming on a commercial transport truck?

I didn't hear you had gotten another horse.  Did you have him at PR?  Sorry to hear of his accident Sad
