Just a quick note to let you all know that we have found a foster mum for our filly, and the fostering has been a complete success. The foal walked up to the mare the moment my mum led her in the stable, and drank straight away. The mare has taken her under her wing, and unless you knew the circumstances, you wouldn’t know it wasn’t her real mum!
So to everyone who has emailed and called offering mares and kind words of support, or even just sent my email on to their contacts, from the bottom of our hearts, thankyou. We have been absolutely overwhelmed with the kindness of long time friends and strangers alike, and for that we are so grateful.
I have decided to call the filly “Belcaryn Fame”, as she is so famous now, and her paddock name is Annie, as in little orphan Annie.
So, one again, thankyou everyone.
