A lovely home has been found for this mare.
History:
Splash was rescued from a pound in early 2008 by a Canberra resident. She was picked up wandering around the road with a rug on, she was matted, rubbed and lacking condition. Due to changed circumstances, BCHR was asked to assist with finding a new home for Splash.
Splash is seeking a kind and patient person who will help her regain her trust in humans. She will require someone who is experienced but will set clear boundaries for what is acceptable behaviour, especially on the ground, and who also knows when to back off the pressure.
She may be suitable for light riding with some work or could possibly suitable as a companion horse. She has run with a Thoroughbred Gelding for a few weeks earlier in the year.
