We currently have no rescue horses in our care.
————————-
The Bush Capital Horse Rescue Association often has horses available to good homes.
We reserve the right to inspect the property at which these horses will be living, and to refuse a sale of a horse to any person the association is not completely satisfied with. We expect properties to have horse-safe fencing, appropriate water points, and be free from obstacles that may cause injury to horses (such as loose wire, scrap metal, farm implements, etc.).
We do charge a fee for our horses. This fee covers the feed, veterinary, dentist, farrier and other costs incurred by the association in providing care for the horse.
All horses sold will have been checked, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, and where necessary have had their feet and teeth done. Although we endeavour to assess all our horses under saddle, we make no guarantees as to a horse’s suitability as a riding horse.
Horses may require breaking or restarting to suit your purposes, except for horses sold expressly as “unfit for saddle” – these are to be companion animals only and are generally labelled as such due to age or health considerations.
